We are constantly bombarded with the challenges that life throws at us. Rather than confront these adversities right away, we often bottle them and move on with our busy schedules. It is incredibly easy to brush things off and tell ourselves that there are bigger things to worry about in our lives or the lives of others… until the bottle we have been filling shatters and we find ourselves trapped and alone—uncertain where to turn, with negative thoughts looming.
This week, let’s open up to each other and prevent that bottle from filling up too much. Let’s reach out and encourage each other to talk about our mental health. Tomorrow when we wake up we should ask ourselves, “What will I do today for someone else’s mental health?” and “What will I do today for my own mental health?” By doing so, we can help improve the mental health and well-being of ourselves and those around us.
Sincerely,
Daniel Nazareth
